Spirit Week

So... this is sort of a random post but I totally forgot to share some pictures from my school's last spirit week. Before a big game (or in this case because of a snow day, before February vacation) we have a pep rally. The week leading up to the pep rally in called "Spirit Week". There are a bunch of fun theme days and last spirit week was my favorite (so far)!

On Disney Day I rocked a pair of Minnie Mouse ears, a flowy red blouse with a big bow, a long pearl necklace, my favorite faux leather jacket, and glossy red lips.
On Time Warp Day I dressed in a 1950's theme. I tied my hair up with a bandanna and did Marilyn  Monroe inspired cat-eyes and red lips. As for my outfit I wore a white collared shirt tucked into a black pencil skirt and layered my denim jacket over that.

Fabulous (Leopard) Find of the Week

Vintage Leopard Strap Watch from Betsey Johnson
This week's Fabulous Find is by one of my all time favorite designers, the amazing, Betsey Johnson. I decided to feature this watch for many reasons. One of them being that I just love the look of a big 'ol watch on a girl. It's definitely one of favorite menswear turned women's wear trends that I love. Second, the classic Betsey Johnson leopard print totally makes the watch and adds a bit of spice and femininity  Finally, I love the face and roman numerals. Some might be a bit intimidated by wearing a watch with such a bold pattern, but for me, leopard's a neutral. This classy and sassy watch is $105 and you can buy one right here. Did I mention shipping is free when you spend $100? If that doesn't seal the deal then I don't know what will.

The pattern and colors of these pants make them a great addition to your closet for spring. If you're a little shy when it comes to patterns a small polka dot design may be the way to go for you. This fun and girly collection includes everything from short, flirty dresses to long, elegant evening gowns perfect for prom. Here are a few of my favorites.

From right to left: Organza Rosette Dress $70, Pearl by Georgina Chapman, jcpenny.com. Strapless Rose Applique Dress $70, Pearl by Georgina Chapman, jcpenny.com. Long Sleeve Lace Dress $110, Pearl by Georgina Chapman, jcpenny.com.
